Silence Is A Mediocre Sin is a complete book design that presents the vitality and spirit of spoken word an slam Poetry, with first person accounts of its upstart, convergence and diaspora.
The book is 8” by 11.5”, mimicking the proportions of many journals while providing optimally comfortable reading space. 
Painter’s tape is used to represent the frantic (yet detailed) cut and paste precision of words to create spoken word. The color palette is a nod to the art form’s street origin.
