Trillium Absinthe
Absinthe is shrouded in romantic myth (think green fairies dancing with Toulouse Lautrec) and has a strong European café tradition. But what would an American absinthe look like?
The bottle is a modern take on the classic wine shape of vintage absinthes. Bouquets of wormwood, damiana, lemon balm, hyssop, and star anise swirl around the label.
All finished off with a scroll label printed directly on the bottle & a white wax top. If you look really closely, you can spot your very own green fairy hidden in the bouquet.
I helped with the naming, completed the design, and sourced the bottles for a limited run.
This was the 2nd to market in the U.S. after absinthe was legalized. Well, technically it always was, but you can read more about the specifics here.
Integrity Spirits also tapped us to work on naming and design for a line of vodkas. Lovejoy is a street in NW Portland. And also the Reverend in The Simpsons. These are the lovelies were designed by Jared Milam.
